In addition to his civil litigation practice, Mr. Doelger managed his prior firm’s real estate practice. In that regard, Mr. Doelger performed and supervised countless real estate closings; negotiated, drafted, and reviewed contracts of sale for commercial and residential real estate, and commercial and residential real property leases; supervised and managed a real estate staff consisting of paralegals, assistants, and transactional closers; represented clients in complex real estate matters such as short sales, land purchases and zoning issues for developers, defaulting note purchases, privately held notes and mortgages; and has represented multiple institutional and private lenders in residential and commercial real estate closings.
Mr. Doelger is currently admitted in good standing to practice law in both the states of New York and Connecticut; and has been an active member of both the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association since 2007. In May of 1998, Mr. Doelger graduated cum laude from Dowling College, Oakdale, NY with a degree in Bachelor of Business Administration; and in June of 2007, Mr. Doelger received his Juris Doctor degree from Touro Law Center, Central Islip, NY. Currently, Mr. Doelger is pursuing an advanced degree and certificate as a School District Business Leader in Education with Dowling College. The pursuit of this advanced degree in education has given Mr. Doelger unique insight and perspective into the area of education law. In addition, prior to practicing law, Mr. Doelger was employed as a loan officer by several large banks and institutional lenders, including Bank of America, Astoria Federal Savings and Wells Fargo.
